About Me

I am an open-minded integrative counsellor, offering sessions for adults in Norwich, and online (UK-wide) in counselling, EMDR and breathwork.

I believe great healing can come from the relationship between client and counsellor. Having someone in your corner who will not judge you, and to be by your side.

I am an integrative counsellor, which means and trained in many different types of therapy and I will use an approach tailored specifically for you.

I am a qualified EMDR practitioner (Eye Movement, Desensitisation and Reprocessing), which is a psychotherapy approach to help process and recover from traumatic and distressing experiences.

EMDR works quickly and effectively to help with PTSD, grief, anxiety, abuse, addiction, chronic pain and many other conditions, including destructive patterns of behaviour that you have not been able to change no matter how hard you’ve tried.

I am also a trauma-informed breathwork coach, and can assess where your patterns of breathing could improve to help regulate your nervous system. Breathwork is a simple and powerful tool that has the ability to transform your wellbeing. The breath is the only system in the body that we can control and learning to breathe to your fullest capacity can be life changing.

I can help you to understand and process your difficult emotions and experiences in a safe environment, using somatic techniques (using your body to process emotions) EMDR, and breathwork. Working with your nervous system, you can develop the awareness and space to feel less overwhelmed, stop procrastination, relieve burnout and reach your full potential.

I am always so grateful to witness the powerful transformations that happen for my clients and how their lives change through counselling.

I’ve worked with many clients struggling with addiction and issues with alcohol to help them achieve a successful, long-term recovery. I have worked at Change Grow Live / Emerging Futures recovery partnership.

I offer an anti-oppressive, LGBTQ+ inclusive and neurodivergent-friendly practice.

I have in-depth understanding and experience of working in the spheres of climate change, environmental conservation, and in social justice movements. I offer counselling tailored to individuals and professionals experiencing climate/ environmental anxiety, or grief around issues of inequality, structural and social injustice.

I believe in the healing power of our connection with nature and offer counselling sessions outdoors in woodland and nature-based mindfulness sessions.

I am a member of the Therapy and Social Change Network, and am actively working to decolonise how I practice therapy to offer an inclusive therapy space.

My other areas of interest in therapy (but not delivered by me) are: systemic family constellations; epigenetics and intergenerational trauma; transpersonal psychology and psychedelic assisted therapy.

Please get in touch – whether you are looking for short-term counselling to find solutions to a current issue, or to make big changes in your life, discover your authentic self and your true purpose.

I am a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
